When Is Training Held?

Bush and beach courses are run weekly on weekends, see our training calendar for dates and availability. Both courses are available on weekdays subject to demand and run from 8.30am to 4-4.30pm. Advanced 4WD and Recovery Courses can be arranged, please see our training calendar for the next available course or contact the office.

Private one-on-one tuition is also available for all of our courses. Please contact our office for details. A minimum fee will apply.

How Many in a Car?

That's up to you, as long as your vehicle can legally seat them. Couples can share the driving if you wish. Children are welcome, but do need to be kept under your supervision as we may not be the only 4WDs in that area.

What will I need to bring?

We are often asked this question; the simple answer:

  • A licensed, insured and roadworthy 4WD
  • Your current Australian drivers license
  • A full tank of fuel
  • Food and drinks as required for the day, including water
  • Any personal medication you may need
  • Suitable clothing i.e. Hat, sunscreen, wet weather gear, strong shoes
  • Shovel
  • Air Compressor if you are doing the beach course
  • UHF Radio, either in car or hand held
  • Anything else required for your own personal comfort

If you don't have a radio or an air compressor you may wish to consider hiring one. These are available at a cost of $15 per item or $25 for both. Please contact our office or add to booking form.

Adventure Offroad Training's vehicles are equipped with all of the required recovery equipment, a full first aid kit and fire extinguisher. However if you have any recovery equipment please bring it along, as it will give us the chance to make sure it's suitable for your vehicle.
