Adventure Offroad Training

Excellent day, we met Rich and immediately liked him. We have a Defender and wanted to know how to drive safely on the beach — very informative and fun day. Highly recommend everyone does this before heading on the beach or out in the bush.

I've done both the sand and bush driving courses. Have learned so much from them about the capabilities of the car and the proper way to do things. Am confident to tackle terrain which I would never have attempted otherwise. Thanks guys.

Me and my partner did the Bush training course, cannot recommend enough. Richard was very very knowledgeable, explained everything clearly and all in all a top guy.

Fantastic day! As a newbie to 4WDing, it was hard to know what tyre pressures to use. Watching others drive on the beach you see them 'keeping up momentum'. I had a big fear of getting bogged and not being able to get myself out — this course fixed all of that.

Such a fun, enjoyable and informative day with Troy on the sand course! I started the day with novice trepidation but finished full of 4WD beach driving confidence and ability. Troy's personalised knowledge of each car's capabilities and features was invaluable. Highly recommend this course and company.

I cannot recommend these courses enough! My husband and I recently completed both the sand and bush off-roading courses, and each one was completely different and so valuable in its own way.

What a perfect 4WD sand dunes and beach course we had yesterday! Thanks Troy for your time and knowledge sharing! We learned so much and are now eager and more confident to go driving in dunes and on beaches.

We did the sand/beach course and loved it. Troy's instructions were always very clear and made sure that everyone was prepared for what was needed. We learnt so many tips and tricks and now feel comfortable to drive on the beach.

Richard and Troy's beach and sand dune training course was exceptional. Their expertise and thorough explanations were outstanding, and their patience in answering questions made the entire day both educational and enjoyable. I plan to enrol again.

We did the sand / beach 4WD course with Richard. We were a big group, but Richard took time to show us how each of our cars can be used — and definitely not to believe A LOT of the 4WD YouTube videos out there which are very misleading. We will soon look at doing the bush course. Thanks Richard.

My wife and I completed the 1-day beach terrain course. As novices we learnt so much in a day and we highly recommend doing this course if you are new to off-road 4x4 driving. Our instructor, Troy, was very informative.

My wife and I did the Beach 4WD Training day at Wilbinga with Richard. We are happy to give this 5 stars. This course is much more than learning how to navigate sand tracks, dunes and beach tracks — Richard passes on a wealth of knowledge.

I recently completed both the bush and beach training courses with Adventure Offroad Training, and I couldn't be more impressed. Richard, the instructor, is extremely experienced and has a deep understanding of off-roading.

Attended Richard's bush and sand course to gain more confidence for a solo trip with my 13yr old — and left with so much more! Not only do you get hands-on experience and confidence to navigate the terrain, you learn how to get yourself out of a pickle.

I have done the sand course and the bush course and the knowledge of the instructors is fantastic. I learnt a lot on both trips and highly recommend them. Thanks guys.
