This journey will take you form Perth to the Southwest and back again, learning from the experience gained by the experts at Hema Maps as they map and explore the best off-road destinations in Australia
Join Adventure Offroad Training and Hema Maps for a four day, three night excursion in WA's South West where we will explore the beautiful and exciting D'Entrecasteaux National Park. You will be leaving Perth early on day one and meeting your trip guides/trainers on the road at the first stop. We will then set off in convoy through the South West to Black Point for lunch. From there we will travel south where you will be staying the next three nights at an exclusive camp site in the Yeagarup Dunes. Day two learn how to tackle the famous Callcup Hill and maybe even cross the Warren River. Stopping for some lunch on the beach and maybe a dip in the river to cool off or a spot of fishing if you would like. That evening learn the basics of 4WD trip navigation, communications and safety devices from an expert from Hema Maps, find out all the tips and tricks when bush camping (what to bring and what to leave behind). Day three (Australia Day) up early for a morning excursion to Banksia Camp and Cliffy Head, a chance to chill out on the beach or go for a drive for some spectacular views. Arriving back at camp mid to late afternoon and getting ready for a sundowner on Yeagarup Beach with a night drive back through the dunes. Breaking camp on the last day, honing your skills at take down and pack up. Leaving the dunes behind we will weave our way back up the Vasse Hwy, calling in on Lake Jasper for lunch and a dip before heading off on the final leg back to Perth.
